I went to visit a friend who is staying at Menorah House. It seemed clean and the patients there seemed to be friendly. Lots of them smiled and said hello to me as I passed by. The person I was visiting seems to be content and well cared for.
My mom is turning 101 years old this coming week. She’s resided at Menorah House for the past 18 months. It’s been a life changing experience for her. Prior to that she was at home with daily aides caring for her. The change to a residential setting has opened her up to forming relationships and making new friends. There are many daily activities that she participates in and provide stimulation she didn’t have at home. The caring staff has been excellent. Whenever I visit Menorah House, my mom tells me how happy she is there.
